British Foreign Minister David Cameron signed a memorandum of cooperation in the field of rare earth metals during his visit to Mongolia. This was announced by the Mongolian Foreign Ministry.
"During the visit of the British Foreign Minister to Mongolia, a roadmap for the development of cooperation on rare earth metals was presented. A memorandum of cooperation in the field of geology was signed with the Minister of Mining and Heavy Industry of the country, Zhambalyn Ganbaatar," the press service of the Foreign Ministry said.
According to him, the conclusion of the memorandum will open up opportunities for cooperation in conducting detailed studies of Mongolia's mineral resources, exchanging scientific information in the field of geology and training specialists. For this purpose, the memorandum was signed by the geological services of the two countries.
