On November 6, Prime Minister L. Oyun-Erdene, who is on a working visit to China, toured key infrastructure projects in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, including the Qiantang River's second bridge, also known as the Pengbu Bridge.
One of the significant infrastructure developments planned by the National Committee for the "20-Minute City" initiative, under the Government of Mongolia, is the construction of a steel cable-stayed bridge over the Tuul River.Additionally, as part of efforts to alleviate congestion and decentralize Ulaanbaatar, the Mongolian government is planning a series of projects to build a 15.3-kilometer highway, a new bridge, and associated bridge structures around Bogdkhaan Mountain.
To ensure the success of these developments, it is crucial to learn from successful international projects. As such, the Prime Minister, along with key government officials, visited China's advanced bridges and underwater infrastructure to study their design and implementation.
