“Mining Week 2022”Parliament Speaker ZANDANSHATAR.G “According to the amendment to the Constitution of Mongolia, there is a need to further increase the impact of the mining industry on the society and economy, establish a National Wealth Fund to finance large projects and programs, and solve issues such as the equitable distribution of returns from strategically important deposits to citizens. The Parliament will pay attention to these issues. The bills related to the mining sector are also the main focus. Among the six set goals of the government’s “New Recovery Policy”, “Port Recovery”, “Energy Recovery”, and “Industrialization Recovery” are directly related to the further development of mining.
We believe that it is appropriate to discuss the issues facing the mining industry openly and transparently, seek solutions, introduce new technologies and innovations, and create a favorable environment for investment, based on the relationship between the government, the private sector, citizens, and civil society”
