As part of the "New Recovery Policy" of the Government of Mongolia, the Minister of Environment and Tourism convened a "Morning Meeting" with the Mongolian National Mining Association and signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The parties intend to collaborate on promoting responsible mining by enhancing coordination between the public and private sectors within the mineral resources. This collaboration will also extend to supporting the national "Billion Trees" movement, enhancing the enforcement of environmental laws and regulations, and combatting illegal mining.
